COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING POLICY
The International
Journal on Technical and Physical Problems of Engineering (IJTPE) is
committed to maintaining transparency in copyright, licensing, reuse, open
access, author rights, repository posting, and self-archiving. This policy
clarifies the copyright ownership model and the single open access license
applied to published articles. For clarity and
consistency, IJTPE Journal applies one licensing policy to its published
articles: the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
The journal does not apply CC BY or any other Creative Commons license unless
this policy is formally updated on the journal website. No separate publisher’s
own license is applied in addition to the stated Creative Commons license.
1. Copyright Ownership For all papers
accepted and published in IJTPE Journal, the copyright is transferred
to the IOTPE Organization, in accordance with the signed IJTPE
Copyright and Consent Form. The copyright holder
for published articles is therefore the IOTPE Organization (International
Organization of IOTPE). This transfer enables the journal to manage
publication, distribution, archiving, protection of the scholarly record, and
permitted reuse of the published work in a consistent and lawful manner. 2. Open Access and
Licensing Model All articles published
in IJTPE Journal are made freely available online
immediately after publication without subscription, access fees, pay-per-view
charges, embargo period, or user registration. Published articles are
distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0
International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Under this license,
published articles may be read, downloaded, copied, printed, searched, linked
to, shared, and distributed for non-commercial academic, research, and educational
purposes, provided that proper attribution and full bibliographic citation to
the original publication in IJTPE Journal are given. The full license terms
are available at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ 3. License Conditions - Attribution: Users
must give appropriate credit to the authors and to the original publication
in IJTPE Journal. - NonCommercial: Published articles may
not be used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the
copyright holder. - NoDerivatives: Published articles may
not be modified, adapted, translated, transformed, or used to create
derivative works for redistribution without prior written permission from the
copyright holder. - No
additional license: IJTPE Journal does not use a separate publisher’s
own license in addition to CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. 4. Author
Responsibility Although copyright is
transferred to the IOTPE Organization, authors remain fully
responsible for the scientific content of their work, including originality,
accuracy of data, results and interpretations, proper citation of third-party
materials, ethical compliance, and obtaining permission for any copyrighted material
reused in the manuscript. The opinions,
findings, and conclusions expressed in published papers belong to the authors
and do not necessarily reflect the views of the journal or the publisher. 5. Rights Retained by
Authors Authors retain normal
scholarly rights to use their published work for personal, academic,
research, teaching, and institutional purposes, provided that the
official IJTPE Journal publication is properly acknowledged
and the use remains consistent with the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license and the
signed copyright form. - Authors may use
their published work in lectures, theses, dissertations, academic
presentations, teaching materials, CVs, academic profiles, and future
scholarly work with proper citation. - Authors may archive
the final published version in personal, institutional, or non-commercial
repositories with full citation to the original IJTPE Journal publication. - Authors may not
independently authorize commercial reuse, republication for profit, or
derivative redistribution of the published article, because the copyright is
transferred to the IOTPE Organization. 6. Permissions for
Reuse Any reuse beyond the
permissions granted by CC BY-NC-ND 4.0, including commercial reuse,
republication for commercial purposes, translation, adaptation, modification,
derivative redistribution, or substantial reuse of figures, tables, images,
algorithms, datasets, or text, requires prior written permission from the
copyright holder. Permission requests
should be directed to IJTPE Journal / IOTPE Organization. 7. Self-Archiving and
Repository Policy IJTPE Journal permits authors to post or archive the
final published version of their article in personal, institutional, or
non-commercial subject repositories, provided that: - The archived version
clearly identifies IJTPE Journal as the original place of
publication; - Full bibliographic
citation of the journal, issue, volume, pages, and year is included; - The archived copy
does not misrepresent the journal version; - The deposit complies
with the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license and the journal’s copyright and licensing policy; - Where possible, the
archived version includes a link to the official article page on the IJTPE
website. 8. Archiving and
Preservation Policy IJTPE Journal is committed to ensuring the long-term
availability and preservation of its published content. All articles are
securely hosted on the journal’s official website and
are regularly backed up to maintain continuous access for readers. In the event that the
journal ceases publication, IJTPE Journal will take
appropriate measures to ensure that previously published content remains
accessible to the academic community through its website and established
archiving practices. 9. Copyright and
Licensing Information on Published Articles Copyright and
licensing information should be clearly identified on the journal website,
policy documents, author documents, published article records, and
publication files. Where applicable,
published article pages and PDF files should state that copyright is held by
the IOTPE Organization and that the article is published
under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). 10. Third-Party
Materials If a submitted
manuscript includes any figure, table, algorithm, image, dataset, or
substantial text taken or adapted from another source, the authors must
obtain all necessary permissions before publication. Responsibility for
securing such permissions rests entirely with the authors. 11. Policy Consistency The copyright and
licensing statements on the Publication Policy, Copyright
& Licensing, Author Guidelines, Copyright and
Consent Form, published article pages, and article PDF files should be
consistent with this policy. In particular, all journal materials should
consistently state: Copyright is transferred to the IOTPE
Organization and published articles are licensed under CC
BY-NC-ND 4.0. 12. Policy Updates This Copyright &
Licensing Policy may be updated from time to time to improve transparency,
align with international publishing standards, and reflect the development of
the journal’s editorial practices. The most current
version published on the IJTPE Journal website shall be
considered the official version of the policy. 13. Contact For copyright,
permissions, licensing, or repository-related questions, please contact IJTPE
